About Aajonus Vonderplanitz

Aajonus Vonderplanitz (1947-2013) developed the Primal Diet after his own remarkable health journey. According to his accounts, he overcame serious illness by discovering the healing power of raw animal foods.

He spent over 30 years refining the diet, authored two books — “We Want To Live” and “The Recipe for Living Without Disease” — and conducted countless workshops and consultations.

His teachings continue to help people around the world explore a different approach to nutrition and health.
